Abstract: 이 발표에서는 지난 NEXT 에서 발표했던 내용에서 업데이트된 내용을 포함한 recap 을 진행했다. Foundation models 로는 gemini 1.5 pro 가 공개되어 ChatGPT 가 주장하는 128k 의 input 을 한참 뛰어넘는, 1M 의 입력 토큰 수를 자랑했고, imagen 2.0 을 비롯한 CodeGemma, Digital Watermaking 기술을 공개했다. Vertex AI 라는 개발자들을 위한 AI 서비스 개발 어시스트 피처들을 공개했고, 더 좋은 MLOps 를 위한 기능들도 공개했다. Nvidia 와의 협업을 통한 GPU, TPU 를 활용한 인프라에도 많은 투자를 하고 있는 것으로 보인다. Wrap up 하자면 2024 년의 키워드는 gemini 였고, 모든 프로덕트에 녹이려고 방향성을 잡고 있다고 한다.
Strong Points:
실제 현업 빅테크에서는 AI 기술의 어느 부분에 집중하고 있는지, 동향이 어떤지를 잘 살펴볼 수 있도록 정리해서 알려주셔서 듣기에 편하고 좋았다. 또한 사용사례를 많이 들어주셔서 프로덕트에 대한 이해가 잘 되었다.
Weak Points:
초반에 음성 연결 문제를 제외하고는 딱히 부족한 점이 없었던 것 같다.
