Abstract:
이 발표는 교수님의 일대기와 교수님께서 하셨던 초창기 연구, 그리고 학생과 하신 연구들에 대해서 소개해주셨다. 집중적으로 설명해주신 논문인 SODA 는 social dataset 이 부족했던 문제를 해결하기 위한 연구이며, LLM 을 통해서 이를 해결하려고 했다. LLM 끼리 대화를 시켜 얻은 데이터셋이 human 에 의해 평가를 받았을 때, 실제 데이터셋을 능가했고, T5 모델을 training 했을 때, GPT 를 능가했다고 한다.
Strong Points:
전반적인 설명이 분야에 대한 구체적인 지식을 요하는 것이 아니어서 이해하기 용이했다. 교수님의 일대기에 대한 설명이나, 연구에 대한 설명 모두 청자들이 집중해서 들을 수 있도록 잘 구성되었던 것 같다.
Weak Points:
연구 결과에 대한 해석 (e.g., 왜 LLM 을 사용해서 대화 데이터셋을 만드는 것이 실제 human conversation 보다 좋았는지)이 조금 더 풍부했으면 좋았을 것 같다.
